In the Valley of the Wupper
In the Valley of the Wupper
Watch in the valley of the wupper on Soap2day. Following the 1992 killing of a man mistakenly believed to be Jewish, Amos Gitai interviews residents, witnesses, and legal figures in Wuppertal. Avoiding direct depiction of the crime or its perpetrators, the film examines how fear, denial, and everyday attitudes expose deeper currents of xenophobia in contemporary Germany.
